Can one argue the Democratic party never stopped being the party of 'Racism',

they just changed their tactics? After 'Slavery' was abolished by Republicans they moved towards 'segregation', then after trying to filibuster Civil rights they moved towards 'welfare', which everyone knows full well is a way to keep people IN POVERTY by making them comfortable in it.

And it still exists to this day... to me Democrats effort to expand welfare programs for minorities is just their way of keeping them 'segregated' and 'slaves' to their party...
 
You could argue that but that would not make it true. Party's are not racist people are, and the most people who supported segregation in the south, quit the Democratic party and joined the Republican in the decades after the civil rights bill of 1964 passed because of the support Johnson and northern Democrats in the Senate.

Welfare may seem racist to you but it does not seem that way to poor people who need help, and you must as yourself why you think they are too dumb to know what they need but you do.
