Can one be a saved believer in Jesus Christ and homosexual?

God has no standards, they all come from people. The people who would suggest that somehow a homosexual is a less deserving human than a heterosexual one are simply ridiculous!

Groups such as the Westboro Baptist nuttbars, are the ones who promote the obscure and most likely misinterpreted passage that vaguely refers to "men laying down with men".

Taoist/Atheist (not homophobic)

One of the main attributes of a "saved believer" is his (or her) INTENSE DESIRE TO DO THE WILL OF GOD. So, therefore if God says that homosexuality is "abomination," the saved believer certainly would not be doing that. Period.

Draw your own conclusions.

Since I'm a person, I can't tell you, and by that same standard no one else can either.

The only way to know, then, with the limitations, is to ask god directly.

The phrase "saved believer" makes my skin crawl.

It drips with self-righteousness and judgement of others and is usually accompanied by a barrage of ignorance and bigotry

God is more concerned with your spiritual life then your physical life style. God has the great will for the universe directive, and this is a forward moving adventure. God's will comes with basic rules each must follow, but God gives each the choice to follow these rules or not. God has given creation a free will prerogative so that they might choose their own animistic self centering flawed and perceptually biased will or give that over to God in exchange for the desire to be found within the will of the creator of all things.

If you give yourself over to the will of the father in heaven with an open and honest heart you're unlikely to find yourself expelled out of the heavenly family.

God is just pretend, so there's really nothing to be "saved" from in the first place.

So quit worrying so much, and just try not to be mean to other people...
