If it is taught that no one is without sin, people at times give into temptations and they will be forgiven if they just ask, people could think it's expected.

Hebrews 10: 26 talks of if we willfully practice sin after knowing what is right and wrong, then it is a sin for us. It also speaks of being no sacrifice for sins left if we did this. The key word is WILLFULLY practice sin. Its true we do fail at times but yes nobody is perfect. We have to do our utmost to be clean as possible from sin.

Bear in mind there is what is deemed to be serious sin, such as fornication, murder etc.... If these sins are committed then it should be hard to be accepted back in to the congregation but not impossible. But as for less serious sins, (eg) swearing etc...., these although are unacceptable are conceded that we will at times fail because of imperfection. Still it should not be looked at by a faith to be okay.

I do agree with you though, it does seem as though most religions are giving the nod to bad conduct.

Yes! Just tell people they are forbidden to do what comes biologically natural, like have sex, and you get instant "sin." This is why there is a great deal of problem with much of religious based morality. Much of it is based on taboo and ancient superstition. Precious little of it is based on reason and practical common sense.

Then they need to read the scriptures for the truth. It is an excuse, Religion does not encourage sin.

Anything can be misused, and religion is no exception, as history has proven.

Religion provides an opportunity for people to exploit others by different means. It does not mean that religion is bad, because I feel that those who are using for purposes of exploitation would find some means to do it if religion did not exist. It is just in their nature.

Sin is an idea. Religion presents that idea. No religion, no sin. Instead, we have the normal feelings, thoughts and actions of human beings which should be examined and understood instead of dismissing people as "sinful" and somehow less than human.
