Can smoking ONE CIGARETTE (not one pack of cigarettes) per day give you cancer?

Oral, jaw, esophageal, etc? In a short period of time? Doesn't it take many years of smoking a considerable amount of cigarettes per day (like a pack) to form serious problems?

Like for example, an 18 year old male who has smoked one single cigarette per day for 3 months COULDNT have cancer ALREADY, correct?
