Like can i consciously force myself to stop liking one gender and start liking another? I think people who say they are born gay are lying.
 
No one cannot turn gay, just as one cannot change the colour of their skin, eyes, nationality or any of the inherent traits they are born with.
Being gay, straight, lesbian, bi or any other thing i that one can think of is a part of a persons genetic makeup and cannot be altered.

people can discover that they were homosexual and never knew before but watching the logo channel will not transform you, also i know people are born gay because i knew i liked men before i had ever heard the word gay
 
No you can't. If you tried, you definitely wouldn't be as happy.
Sexuality is something you can't help or choose.
Also, why would someone CHOOSE to be mocked and harassed and told that they're going to hell?
 
it has been shown that people who are confined for long periods of time with others of the same sex have turned to homosexual behavior for sexual gratification. this has been observed in both incarceration and in military situations.

And use it as an excuse because they don't want to admit the truth.
Homosexuality is a decision... that is affected by several factors.
I firmly believe that your first sexual experience contributes to what ones sexuality may be later in life... also, experiences...and just life in general.
As to answer your question, I don't think you can "force" yourself to like anyone.
Attraction comes from a vibe that is being transmitted from the other person.
Love is not determined by gender.
And when it comes to sexuality, people should not be so quick to label themselves.
It can take a lifetime to fully know what your sexual orientation is...
A woman can "straight" for 50 years (dating only men) and wake up one morning taking an interest in women.
Plus, the definition of "gay" is vague...
