can someone please tell me how torrent downloads work i have bit comet and i am lost?

i downloaded an app torrent with bit comet but now how do i install or move it from bit comet to my hard drive to install, can someone please help im gettin desperate and none of the reading is being clear, clients and torrents and leechers and bit comet OH my... please help!!!!!!!

First you find a torrent on any torrent website. Download it and use the torrent app to download the torrent content.
