I have a 2001 Saturn SL1 and I'm looking to get a nice sound set up for it. I know what most are thinking, "typical young driver, piece of crap car with a nice system". I will admit that's what this situation is
But also, the speakers when i bought the car are literally broken. they work, but doesn't go past volume level 5 because after that its nothing but static. Anyways. I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a nice bundle of the following:
*Stereo (doesn't have to be fancy) with an auxiliary jack
*4 speakers (one for each door)
*An amp that will give nice quality and power
*A sub or two with an enclosure (this is where i want most of the budget to go to, because I love bass despite not being into rap and hip hop like most people with loud subs)
*Anything needed to hook it all up (installation kit, wiring, etc.)
Here's my shopping criteria:
*Budget: $550-$650
*Measurements:
Radio opening:
Usable space behind your dash for a new stereo: 7.851"
Radio types that will fit in my dash:
2"-tall ("DIN" style)
Front speakers:
Front Door: 6-3/4"
Rear speakers:
Rear Deck: 6-3/4"
