can someone tell me a scientific kundalini resourse,not the usual

awakening/relogious stuff on internet? i am tired of looking for truth about kundalini.all i find is yogic gigs and shakti and all the things which seem imaginary. the avaliable descriptions about kundalini are far from the complete truth.can some on who has actual knowledge about kundalini contact me or advice me a contact. all i have succeded in finding is tons of scrap that is available on net. i also approached a couple of authors on kundalini and their advices were to start worshiping the god they were worshiping. i am interseted in knowing about kundalini.i am looking forward to find where does kundalini come from. what is its purpose of being in body, is it a part of body.how does it enter its body, how does ot maitain its progeny.

is there a scientific group which can answer these questions.

Truthfully if you search kundalini on wikipedia.org you are as likely to get as much data about 'scientific' research as exists. As a Reiki Master I was taught a secondary modality of Reiki known as Kundalini Reiki yet I found it to be a tawdry spin-off of the Reiki concept which is so popular in the modern era.

Chakras and Chi and Energy fields do not exist to MRIs, Ctscans, PETs or any other modern imagery machine. The only tangible effects of Reiki are the slight increase of the hands as the focus of the healing energy channeled from the body--easily explained away by biofeedback of the 'practitioner'.

Show me Kundalini rising in any scientific measurable way and you would have whole batches of PHD.s drooling for a chance to research it further.

I suppose what I desire to communicate is that what you wish to seek knowledge of is something without even the same structure or documentation of the Catholic Church--yet is still based in faith--or belief--acceptance.

Scientific results are repeatable, reproducible and can be obtained with degrees of accuracy. None of this applies to Kundalini or the field in which is exists.

Heck, I'll say that for Reiki and I practice it!

I don't know a scientific group off the top of my head on this topic. It is energy that lies at the base of your spine and is awakened when you reach an advanced point in your spiritual development. People see it as coiled up like a snake.

Unfortunately, Science is busy studying things that get scientists grant money. Kundalini, Yoga, Chi Gong and the like are not profitable. I think they best evidence you will find would per personal experience. Good luck.
