Can someone tell me what this dream means?

Last night, I had a dream that I was swimming, in something like a pool . I don't exactly remember. I kept trying to swim away from the one boy from high school I ever loved in my life we weren't dating but there was a connection there........he kept running arround the "pool" and kept calling my name but I kept swimming away. It brought me so much joy to dream about him.....Any ideas??I do remember however the place I was swimming in was clear

Dreams don't have any meanings,the only thing you can be certain of is that you're dreaming about this person because you've been thinking about him and/or miss him. Possibly you're trying to get rid of your feelings for him and in result have a dream that puts this into asymbolic perspective - trying to swim away and escape.
