Can the Lifters on a 2000 Hyundai be adjusted?

Uncle Bought a 2000 hyundai and the heads had been replaced a little over a year ago and now there is a light tap so we were wondering if the lifters could be adjusted or dose the head and lifters have to be replaced?

nope but one can replace the oil to a heavier weight and some time fix it id try a oil change first before spending money on it and really lifters can tick for years sometimes but id say replace oil maybe a engine flush and then go with the next weight oil will not hurt it anyways
