Can the logitech quickcam pro 9000 alter your voice?

I'm trying to decide soon, which webcam I should get... I'm running on a Hp Vista Intel Core 2 Quad with a 22in Flatscreen monitor.. and I saw a review on the Logitech quickcam communicate deluxe were the guy altered his voice-- which made it sound like a lil monkey.. and I was trying to figure out if this one does it too??? Please help!!!
 
I have the logitech quickcam pro 9000, the voice seems ok. As far as the software, I don't see where one can change the voice quality.
 
its all based on programs, theirs freeware/shareware on sites like cnet/download.com where they can alter your voice, it has nothing to do with the webcam. a program like this may come with your webcam but free alternatives are available too if you already have a microphone.
