the opposite sex at age 14?!? i am a super workaholic- i am not affected by too many "teenage diseases" like dating and all. i do recognise the opposite sex, but i prefer to keep the real stuff 4 later, when i'm older and when it's more suitable... (yeah, i know, i'm a little old-fashioned)... my social life is perfect, i have a number of friends who are boys, but lately, some stupid boy in my school has started 2 spread romours about me, saying that i might be homosexual! i believe that its really shallow to judge people like that on such terms. is this what i get for keeping my head straight and being pure, by concentrating on the right stuff? i really think its unfair! what about you?
 
Nope. Not lesbian.

In modern western culture, lesbian is defined by what you like. If you lust after another woman's body, you're a lesbian. Simply not having a boyfriend doesn't cut it. Even having sex with another woman doesn't make you a lesbian unless you enjoy it.
 
You're not gay, lesbian or homosexual by the sounds of it. Infact you sound extremely mature and sensible. Your education will only take place once, and the approach you are taking I commend.

This boy spreading rumors is just being a pratt and coward, stick with your friends, and the people who know you, they'll see through his petty attitude and you will be better off for ignoring him. When you leave school, the silly rumors becoming meaningless, and your hard work now will prepare you to tackle issues that will influence your future.
