I recently dreamed of my deceased grandmother whom I was estranged from, a dog that I kicked away from my 21 month old son, and a spanking...
In the dream it seems that my son is about to be attacked by a dog and I use my foot to kick it away from us sideways. It goes skidding into the shadows. Swiftly, my dead grandmother comes out of the darkness brandishing a belt as if to spank us and then I woke up.
Facts:
my son loves dogs so I thought maybe it was a warning to be careful around them
my grandmother called me on the phone in a dream right after she passed; when I answered, she said my name and that she was "fine"
this dream scared me as it was a serious cry from the first which seemed that it was a positive encounter.
Anyone else have any ideas?
