every year now? He clearly favors ratings considering that the last three Super Bowls set records for viewership. You know that this Super Bowl will be the highest rated Super Bowl of all time. Why is no sports personality discussing this topic?
Right. So every single player in the NFL is crooked, and all but two of the teams willingly sacrifice their chance to play in the SB because Goodell ordains who's going to play.
I especially like how Goodell told the Steelers and Packers to step off the gas at halftime yesterday, and let their opponents pull back into the game, to keep the drama going. Or how he told the Bears to bench Cutler and have Collins look awful, so they could bring in their third-stringer to throw a couple of TDs. That was a nice touch.
Don't you have some UFO conspiracy theories to look into or something?
The Steelers have been the beneficiaries of some questionable calls over the years.
You can say what you want, but the NFL has an unspoken rule that the most intriguing teams must make it through to the Super Bowl. It's more difficult now with replay challenges, but it is still apparent.
I'm not so sure that this years ratings may be as high as you think simply due to the fact that Green Bay doesn't have the population to support as many fans as a team like the Bears of the Jets may have coming from much larger cities. But regardless of the teams, it is simply an occasion to watch the superbowl each year and views can only grow with the ever popular sport of football and its advertising. Also, don't forget as a country grows there can only be more ppl each year to watch the superbowl. And as to your picked teams conspiracy, yeah I'm sure every team in the league would just love to tell their players that this year we're just going to lose some games on purpose so that the Steelers can go to the superbowl for the 3rd time in 6 years. Yeah that sounds logical, just a bunch of men putting their livelihood to waste for Roger Goodell, good luck with that.
