Can we all remember that being dull, uninspired, tedious and deluded is not the

sole preserve of the religious? People who really have PHDs don't boast about it. That a vast proportion of people here claim a doctorate in a scientific discipline, but lack creative thought, is a damning indictment of higher education.

Believing you're a 'scientist' while sitting at home, unemployed, doesn't actually afford you any status and is pellucid in its silliness.

Answering 2,000 questions each day with the same 'straw man fallacy', 'Pascal's wager', Leprechauns', 'tooth fairy', 'let's deconstruct this biblical passage' nonsense is actually deeply boring and indicative of your seeing some credulity in the whole religious shenanigans in the first place.

I have never had a belief in god(s) but, due to the tedium and cliche of your responses, I am now reluctant to describe myself as an 'atheist'.

Largely, you're as bad as 'they' are and I can't allow myself to get lumped in with the 'leprechaun' brigade, by virtue of a non-belief, without it going unremarked. All the sycophantic 'copying' and cowardly second-hand put-downs are just crass nonsense and as silly as the very thing you purport to object to.

You don't speak for me and I don't want to be in your gang.

Because it's monumentally dull.

Enjoy your little 'A' badges (some people actually did that). Just remember it doesn't stand for 'Ability'.

I myself am a scientist of the fictional variety. I do love watching Firelfy although Star Wars bores me.

It isn't restricted to religious folk:- but you are way better at it.

You get more practice.

(I think perhaps you should check on what 'pellucid' means before you use it anymore).

;-)

Now, this is one of the first open-minded non-Christians that I have responded to on this site. It is nice to respond to this question. I am not here to convert the unwilling. I am just fascinated with your reasoning toward atheists and atheism. This post required some thought. I wish there were more posts by non-Christians like these.

For sure there is a lot of energy deployed at agressing believers ain't it ?

A friend guitar builder of mine told me upon the question about his bad rep : "well people talk good of me or bad, it does not matter a bit, as long as they talk of me it is good publicity "

So verbal agressors of the so call atheism persuasion are not really annoying to me, the more they spend energy to have God non existing, the more they prove the contrary, if God was not there somewhere in their selfs they would not even talk of Him, would they?

Shalom alechem, be at and in peace
