I was wondering because this is an ointment for EXTERNAL use and for "temporary relief of itching, burning, or irritation". So I don't understand what this ointment really does. I have a re-occuring yeast infection (I just treated mine like a couple weeks ago -_- ) and I just bought this gel from a pharmacy. If this is external, does it only take away the itching or does it really work to TAKE AWAY/FIGHT the yeast infection? Because isn't a yeast infection internal?? If it only relives the external irritations...then why would you need it versus buying a product that can actually fight it?
The title of it also says like "Treats and Prevents Symptons of Vaginal yeast Infection" . Here's a link to the product..
