Can you add the bells and whistles after you buy a car? ?

Ok well I'm getting a 2011 ford edge for christmas which my parents bought last summer for me. Well I want to know if for the rest of my Christmas money Is it possible for me to add the 'bells and whistles' to the car?
 
Yes you can, but it will probably be more economical to buy another car with the bells and whistles that you want
 
If by bells and whistles you mean things like DVD player, or a big stereo, sure. If you mean bigger engine, A/C, power windows, and such, not so easy or cheap. There are hundreds of bolt on goodies you can use to personalize your car. Tires and wheels are a great place to start. Good luck.
