about 5 months ago, i tried my first cigarette. even though i liked it, i only have about three drags. so, i had another go another two times. again, i only had about three drags both times. i haven't had a cigarette since. but, im around smokers most weekends now, and ive started to get cravings for cigarettes. i really want to have a smoke. have i become addicted to smoking, through passive smoking, or is it because i have tried a cigarette before and because im around smokers now, its triggered off my craving for cigarettes?

I'm sure I heard that you can from passive smoking but it could also be because of those two times you tried smoking and if you are around a lot of smokers then that will certainly make you crave a cigarrette. You really shouldn't have tried it but personal choice I guess. Try getting some patches or gum to stop the cravings.

The ONLY way you can possibly get addicted to something is if you take it yourself.

Fair enough you may inhale some substances via passive smoking, but you wont get nicotine cravings, I certainly dont.
