...websites are car audio products.? Needless to say, European websites are a little harder to navigate and even harder to find quality reviews! I am looking for a receiver that can do HDMI video inputs and ALSO process the sound, not just the video portion. I have an old Kenwood and love it, it just can't do surround sound. I am reading all kinds of mixed reviews about Harmon Kardon, Onkyo, Sony, Denon... I also need speakers. I decent HTIB would be great but I can't find one from the above companies that gets solid reviews... I'm not trying to break the bank, just get a decent receiver that is fully HDMI compatible and some speakers. Any thoughts?

Kenwood no longer makes home receivers .... just auto. Denon would be my choice. They make very good receivers that are mid-range (and up) in price and I think you get more for your $ from them. Best Buy sells them. Checkout the AVR1909 it's about $600 and is a nice unit with 3 hdmi inputs
