Would it be right or possible to compare these two guns to each other? I don't know much about guns, so I thought I would ask.

Also, what is muzzle velocity? If the muzzle velocity is higher, does that mean it's better?
It's an honest question, jeez. Thanks to those who took me seriously.

The TAR-21 is a select-fire assault rifle chambered in 5.56 x 45 rifle ammunition.

The AA-12 is a fully automatic 12 gauge shotgun.

There is no point in trying to compare them.

You cannot own either one.

Muzzle velocity is the speed of the bullet as it leaves the muzzle of the firearm. Faster is typically better.

If you start with wikipedia you can learn much more about your questions.

Kid, you were asking questions like this a year ago.

No. One is a selective-fire short-barreled rifle, one is a magazine fed autoloader shotgun.

It's really hard to compare the two, as the TAR (Tavor) is an assault rifle, while the AA-12 is an automatic shotgun; they're two different types of guns. I'd say the AA-12 does more damage (far more damage) than the the Tavor at close range, but the 5.56 NATO round of the Tavor is quicker and goes farther.

Muzzle velocity is how fast the bullet is traveling when it leaves the barrel. The faster the muzzle velocity, usually the farther and straighter the bullet goes. This is sometimes better, but it also can pass through muscle tissue easier and quicker. The AK round (7.62) is a slower round but causes more damage because it is heavier and can tumble through the target.

so you like mw2 i guess no you cant compare a full auto shotgun to a assualt rifle you can own a semit auto tar 21 but not aa12

Can you say video game commando?

Edit:Desert eagle I admit I have asked stupid questions but comparing a .223 to a 12 gauge?NEVER
