can you drive by a Volkswagen dealership when your playing the game slug bug ?

My friend drove by a dealership yesterday, while we in the middle of a very big game of Slug Bug. Is that cheating ? He didn't let me know that we were driving there so I was completely ambushed. Thoughts ? Anyone know the actual rules ?

I don't know the official rules, but I call that home field advantage lol. I'd call that cheating if he was the one that initiated the game first.
