“Vimy Ridge was a nation building experience, because the Canadians made an incredible four day victory by taking over Vimy Ridge, and also Vimy Ridge was Canada’s greatest World War 1 victory. Secondly “the great war was also Canada’s war of independence”, because of the of Canada’s participation in the World War 1.
