Can you go online with a laptop thats old?? That doesnt have bluetooth.?

My husband claims he isnt on the internet. Because the laptop is old. We only have dial up on our main pc at home. Is he lying to me??? He knows I dont want him on the internet to do things he shouldnt. So we only go on the main pc to go on the internet.
