I SOOOOO hope you are kidding. Hollywood is a place close to Los Angeles where movies are made and some celebrities live. But JEEZ, you've got to be living under a rock not to know. People who don't SPEAK English know what it is.
 
simply just tell me what it is and why it's so important, I hear about it so much, but I'm always too busy studying my science and mathematics to go to a "movie" or listen to a "song" so, please, tell me about this wood named Holly because it sounds fascinating to me now.
 
Shouldn't you be reading or something :P ...It's not important but people love to dream and Hollywood has dreamers, and tons of success stories. Everyone loves a happy ending for the most part, and that's what Hollywood provides sometimes. It's a way for people to live vicariously through others.
