Can you help me interpret my dream?

Yeah, I know this sounds weird. But I was just wondering about this dream I had the other night...
My mom and I were sliding down these rocks on a creek near this trail we always hike. It's a real place. But in my dream she was explaining to me how she and her dad always came to the same rock to swim. She also said that it had changed since the last time she was there- that the water had changed directions. The problem with this story is that her father (my grandfather) committed suicide the year my older sister was born in 1993. (I was born in 1996.) The dream was really dark and emotional although it may not seem like it. I could feel the water on my skin and touch the rocks and everything, and when I would swim it felt so real. Can you help me with the meaning please?
