Can you overdose on nicotine?

I smoked ten strong cigarettes one after the other once , then I felt really sick and very weak , I couldnt even get up out of the chair.How serious was this , could I have died?

I don't think so. My dad chews tobacco all day. (Which has Nicotine) and he's never overdosed.

New assignment: go to the insecticide section of the nearest nursery, and look for a bottle of nicotine. It is a poison. Kills bugs, will kill people too.
