Technically it's the Holy Spirit who makes these powers available to Christians:
1 Corinthians 12:8-11
8Some of us can speak with wisdom, while others can speak with knowledge, but these gifts come from the same Spirit. 9To others the Spirit has given great faith or the power to heal the sick 10or the power to work mighty miracles. Some of us are prophets, and some of us recognize when God's Spirit is present. Others can speak different kinds of languages, and still others can tell what these languages mean. 11But it is the Spirit who does all this and decides which gifts to give to each of us.

first of all Jesus said he had no power of himself.
but he did say that a certain kind of healing only came through much fasting and prayer.
the powers of healing and miracles, happened by the knowledge of God and the unseen Presence of his being.
