Can you put a cingular SIM card into a t- moble sideckick?

I have a cingular phone and I really want the sidekick. Can I buy the phone and put my SIM card into it.
and will it fit
i mean sidekick
 
If the T-Mobile phone is unlocked for use through other wireless carries, then yes, you can. However, your ability to send and receive text messages may be compromised and you may not be able to use certain features and functions of the phone. If the phone is not unlocked for use with AT&T then it will not work.
