will it work? I was just wondering.
If you took out the SIM card from say, a Sony Ericsson or any other phone, and then put it into another phone, can you access all the data if the data was stored on the SIM card?

Can you actually take a SIM card from another phone and put it into a different one?

Please tell me.
This isn't for any bad uses, I want to change phones, and wondered if I could do it like that.

Yes, you can access all the data that is stored on the SIM card. If you have the original SIM card and need it converted to a smaller version, you can take to a phone shop and they will cut it for you.

Yes my friend you can. Its easy if you have an android phone. Just put your sim in the phone, switch it on and then open your phonebook or contacts. Open its settings and there you will find an option which says import/export contacts. Just use it. Hope i helped:)

HI yes you can use your sim card in any GSM phone only if it is unlocked phone .Else if the phone is locked to some network provider other than one which you are going to use then until you unlock it you can't use your old sim in it..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like Mobile-Unlocker.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost .You first verify that whether they are rendering code for your mobile model ,country and network provider .If yes then pay for it and unlock your phone .After unlocking your phone you can freely use it with any GSM sim ...
