Can you really hunt for Mexican Illegal Immigrants?

I heard that people in Texas have hunters that hunt for illegal immigration. They are armed with an assault rifle but they're wearing civilian clothes.

They usually round up Illegal immigrants and report to the Border patrol. If this is legal, how can I get a job like this?
