Only if the phone uses a standard micro stereo input jack. Most don't, they use some BS proprietary jack so that you have to buy the accessories from the maker of the phone.
 
Okay I think this might be a stupid question but I'd like to be able to record audio with my phone plugging the headset microphone into the headphones jack. Is it possible to record that way?
