Canadian mormons....riddle me this?

Many of your prophets have extolled the US constitution as a constitution inspired by God. Your religion preaches individual freedom, and you believe in a God who is no respecter of persons and gives life,liberty and charges you with the pursuit of material wealth and property to bless your selves and families and the poor and needy.

Why then haven't I heard Canadian Mormons speaking of liberty from monarchy, individual rights given by God and not just privileges allowed by Canadian politicians and law makers? Why is there no movement to get a constitution which guaranties natures rights for an individual instead of a Charter for collective Canadian rights?
 
I am neither Canadian nor a Mormon, but I have to ask you, what have YOU done?

Fortunately, as an American, my forefathers made that sacrifice. Regrettably, we have largely realized Benjamin Franklin's fears that we could not keep the Republic our founding fathers gave us. I for one have done my best to preserve what we have. I have served in our armed forces, and I vote at every election to make sure my voice is heard. That is all anyone really can do to fight for liberty.

Before you demand from others their contributions, make sure you've done what you can.
