Cannot Right-Click Copy and Paste in Internet Explorer?

I got a new computer with Vista and IE 7, but I notice that when I highlight text in Internet Explorer and then try to right mouse copy and paste it does not work. I can use the 'Edit' button in IE in the top frame to accomplish this, but I'd prefer to use the mouse. What's wrong here?
I prefer to use the mouse to copy and paste. Did Microsoft disable this in IE??

I suspect the text is copyright and you are unable to copy it. Sometimes a pop up informs you of this.

highlite, and then use

CTRL+C to COPY then

CTRL+V to PASTE
