so I'm starting to do more portraits now. I like doing natural lighting an outdoor portraits. Candid street stuff mostly. I'm looking at the 70-200 2.8 is. Should I get that or will the 1.4 is be fine? What about a 50 1.2 or 85 1.2? The 85 is pretty pricey though. So lens is better for outdoor candid portraits?

Indoors or out, the 50 mm f/1.4 or f/1.8 are the choices for shooting portraits on a APS-C sensored camera

The f/1.2 is over kill and cost too much money for portrait purposes.

If your Canon is a 1D or 5D series camera, then you will want to use the 85 mm lens for shooting portraits.
