Can't get MP3s I get off internet to work on itunes.?

Okay, so I have tried to download a few torrents from websites on my mac. They download fine and appear on my desktop as a little piece of paper with the left corner folded. It looks like it downloaded as a document instead of an MP3 and it will not open and play in itunes. Any one know what I can do?

Try right clicking them, and then unzipping the files. Usually, when a file shows up this way, it won't open because the computer doesn't know what program created it.
If all else fails, let go of downloading from turrents and download the raw files from somewhere(it takes a little more searching, but there is a raw file of EVERYTHING online.)
