Can't send faxes anymore from my Sharp fax machine?

I have a Sharp UX-B20 fax machine that I use ONLY to send faxes. I never use it much, but it worked fine the last time I used it (and before that). I just tried sending a fax, it acts like it's going through, but it's never received on the other end. I don't get an error message, it acts as if everything went fine. I've tried faxing to different people, so it's not a problem with 1 fax machine on the receiving end. The manual/troubleshooting section has not helped. I can't find anything online that would address this. I've checked all of the common sense things - plugged into power, phone cord, etc. Suggestions??
