so i go on nero and then i click on make own dvd-video after i add video file. it transfers my video over and then says unable to insert c:/
blah blah. and then sometimes it says at random due to patten license restrictions mpeg is restricted. i have been doing this for hours and hours.i bought this external burner from best buy and the nero 6 cd came with it. is there another burner i should buy instead of nero so i can get my torrent files on a dvd. perhaps cheetah or something that is not this much of a headache. I'm not very computer literate so any help is appreciated. To i have to convert the torrent file or is that necessary with nero? if so what convertor should i d.l? or is there a dvd burner that converts and makes dvds with out having to have 2 seperate devices?

Firstly I assume you want to put an AVI or DiVX file onto a DVD not the torrent itself??

Earlier versions of nero had some difficulty with converting AVI and DiVx files I would get a latest version 8.1.02 you are obviously familiar with Bit torrent........
Make sure it has nero vision express included and the divx plugin. this should now work all be it slowly..

If you want a much faster method get ConvertXtoDVD
again bit torrent for it......
A much easier and you only need a couple of clicks to get converting and it will burn it for you (using nero burn plugin) Much faster I use it myself
