I'm dying waiting for my insurance to get back to me and I need to know, or at least get some opinions....Okay forgive some of my vocabulary because I'm not sure what the lane is called (you'll see). I was driving today on a one lane side of the road at 45mph(the speed limit). There was a truck infront of me going 40. They start to slow down and are halfway in a lane with solid outside lined on both sides of the road and broken insides. I continue on past them since they have no turn light and I figure they are letting me pass by going into that lane. I get half of my car past them(which would be impossible if they werent already halfway in the lane I described. They turn into me and hit the driver rear side. It seems they were just making a wider turn into a street. Now this is what goes through my mind....there is no passing lane, so does halfway allow me to pass them, does no signal on their part matter, and them being halfway in that weird lane even matter?
