I wake up and my battery is dead. I charge the battery and it runs fine when I pull the fuse. (gonna check the remote line now that I type this).only thing I can think of next to do is re wire my amp lines. But any suggestions would be nice
checked the remote going into the amp looks good. power is still on when truck is off should I just replace the remote wiring whole? Thought about buying new battery but I do not think that is the problem yet. I have ran a amp on this truck before with same wiring no problems just added a new amp and sub. Bad amp? Insides look good no short?
Unplugged the remote amp did not turn on. Ran a new remote directly from the radio fuse. amp still does not turn off when truck is turned off. cleaned all the wires up just to make sure.

It's time for a new battery and to upgrade to a high output alternator.

Try unplugging the remote wire and seeing if the amp turns on. If your amp is still on when your truck is off there's something wrong with your amp. It may just be some stray power wires reaching over and hitting the accessory wire input. If so simple fix just clean up your power connection to your amp. Your amp isn't supposed to be on when your truck is off, and is draining your battery. If your amp turns off when you unplug the accessory, that means you need to rewire it. Get in your fuse box with a test light and find a fuse that's only hot when your car is on and run a new remote wire from there.
