i currently own 2 cars, 2002 toyota sienna, and a 2010 honda accord, the speakers on the sienna blew out and i want to get them replaced. i also want to upgrade my stock speakers for my accord. i know very little about car audio and a have a couple questions..
1) my accord has a 160 watt, 6 speaker system... how big of an upgrade/difference would the following jbl speakers make in the accord?
http://www.amazon.com/JBL-GTO638-6-5-Inch-3-Way-Speakers/dp/B003KN2TF8/ref=sr_1_7?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1316399781&sr=1-7

2) once i upgrade my accord speakers, can i take the stock accord speakers and replace them with the blown out sienna?

thank you thank you thank you! your guy's help would be very much appreciated!

I hope you listened to the speakers before you decided to buy them. I don't like that they're 2 ohm speakers, since that will be hard on the stock radio's impedance of 4 ohms and the speakers shouldn't go below that. I couldn't find a response graph for those JBL speakers s there's no way to tell what their potential is- how they might sound just from their specs. 180 peak watts is a vague measure since peak watts includes waste heat and distortion. Maybe their real performance is 60 rms watts, which is plenty strong for a small car, but still it would be nice to know what their low end respense - it should go down at least to 40Hz. Better listen to speakers on display before you buy them and install them.

You probably can put the accord speakers in the sienna if they're the right size. I don't expect them to sound as good as the sienna's stock speakers did. If you blew out the siennas speakers the honda speakers will have a short life in there as well.
