It looks like oil pressure switch leaking,if replacing yourself Proceed as follows.
Disconnect wire undo switch no oil will come out screw in new switch refit wire job done.
Can anyone give me anything specific on this oil leak? It leaks quite badly (you can see the puddle after about 2 minutes) but only when the engine is on.

@"you need to replace that hose" - what is the hose? it has a wire/cable running through it too and the hose/pipe/tube whatever you want to call it is where the oil is leaking from. my oil light was flickering and turning on/off before i noticed the oil leak. i also only topped up the oil a few days ago (i didnt overfill it). also, i can't work out how the tube was ever connected to (what i believe to be) the pressure sending sensor.
