car stereo no amp how much rms?

ok so i used to have a buick lesabre and the sound system was good i didnt need an amp just door and back 6x9 speakers it sounded pretty loud but that car broke down now i have a buick park ave that came with stock speakers and a new kenwood stereo i switched the back speakers with the old ones because when i turned the volume all the way up they distorted even though i changed speakers they still sound distorted is it the stereo?i have a Kenwood KDC-138 i dont know what it could be help

If your headlight dims with the bass notes, the “BIG 3” might work. If not an H.O. alternator will be needed, or else be prepared to pour a lot of $$$ for batteries.

I've designed my car for SQ (Sound Quality) not SPL (Sound Pressure Level) my imaging is very good. The bass sounds as if it is up front and my 12 inch sub (picture as shown) in the trunk. I LOVE how it all worked out.
