Car stereo stolen at dealership service department,,,?

Hello, my car stereo was stolen while at the dealership overnight; common sense tells me that the dealership is responsible for the replacement of my stereo. I'm thinking since they had my car, they are responsible for any theft or damage that occur while my car is in their care. Am I right or wrong on this matter?
The cost of the stereo is $700.
