Got off of work tonight, and car wouldn't start.
When I put the key in, the dashboard lights (the lights near the speedometer) were somewhat faded, there was a beeping noise (lthe normal noise before you turn your car on). When I turn the key to the point of turning it on, all the lights go completely out until I relieve tension.
My headlights don't turn on when the key is halfway turned (the point where all the dim lights turn on). When I try to toggle the headlights on, it makes like a dying noise, like the beeping noise sounds like it looses juice and the lights fade.
There's a load of corrosion, I tried whiping it off, but it seems like the red connector is just a greenish whitish bolt (corroded).
Tried to get a jump start from a bud at work... and at first I noticed the lights a little brighter, but still wouldn't start.
Then they went dim again...
Any idea?
This happened in the past, and when it came on again (came on by itself), I noticed the clock was like 5 hours behind...
I mean, I literally drove it just fine 3-4 hours before I got off work.
When it starts, it lasts fine, the lights shine bright, everything works...
