squad) ? They can't fix it as it isn't covered under their warranty. I have it on geek squad which is covered against cracks, water damage...etc Will I be able to get a new phone when I go in and collect the broken one?

you will have to read the warranty info... generally its up to the company they can repair it, and if they can't repair it, they have to give you a equivalent, or the same model if its still available.

generally it won't be "new" it will be refurbished.
