have a compaq evo w6000 and every time I turn on the computer, it comes up with 511-Rear fan not detected. I know why this is. It is because the fan is connected into the molex and the computer does not detect it. Is their a way for this message to not come up EVERY time I boot the pc. The reason why i have chosen the Molex to power the fan is because the fan i had purchased did not have the right connector, where the evo w6000 has its own unique fan slot(not the original 3 pin connector). Any Ideas? i have checked the BIOS but there is nothing there. I have deselected 'view messages' in the BIOS but stil the same.
