Cat hissing, growling, trying to attack me? Is it because she doesn't recognize me?

I've been trying to get Fluffy to calm down towards me ( she was before ) and she hasn't seen me for a few months. I am going to be moving back in my my mother in October. I visit the apartment to check and see how everything is going just about every week. Fluffy is angry towards me, is it because she doesn't remember me or something? How do I get her to like me again??
