i dont understand how he ended up in a mental insitution.
what quotes explain this?
why how?
 
I, personally, don't see why so many people list this as their favorite book. It's interesting, but I never really got into it.
 
In chapter 1, Holden mentions a breakdown.
In chapter 26, Holden mentions psychoanalysts and wings.
