Okay so in Social Studies we have to answer a bunch of questions on this book called catherine called birdy. here are the questions,
- Who is the Nan from the village? What is her function in medieval society?
- Birdy impulsively runs away to the home of George and Ethelfritha. Why do you think this was a good experience for her?(what did she learn?)
- In the entry for september 23, Birdy writes, "In any event, I am, if not free, at least less painfully caged." What dose this refer back to? What dose she mean by this?
- The author often uses the senses of hearing and smell to give rich descriptions of lifein the middle ages. Give examples of this from the June entries.
