HELP - I'm confused....
So many said that we HAD to bail out the auto industry & banks or the country would fail. Now they are wanting to limit the salaries of the top people/CEO's. Shouldn't those CEO's be paid more than a movie star or sports figure if the entire economy and life blood of the USA depends on them?! I DO agree that they should have more of a bonus type program based upon the actual PnL of the company but.... I just don't understand why we Americans still allow the movie companies to pay their stars or teams to pay their players such astronomical salaries and hit it back to us through tickets and such.
I just don't understand why someone that runs a company that employees hundreds of thousands of employees should make less than someone who can make you laugh or cry for about 2.25 hours?
I appreciate your opinions and insight.....

Apparently, no one thinks that tax rebates of up to HALF of the cost of the movie is "us" helping them out....
